Inequality is a state in which two or more things are not equal. In mathematics, inequality is a relation between two quantities when they are different. In other contexts, inequality is the unequal distribution of resources or rewards in an economy or society; specifically it may refer to:
- Economic inequality, difference in economic well-being between population groups
- Income inequality, an unequal distribution of income
- Wealth inequality, an unequal distribution of wealth
